Jammu, June 18: The senior officials of Border Security Force and Pak Rangers today held a flag meeting and discussed border related issues. "A flag meeting was held this afternoon between BSF and Pak Rangers on zero line at Ballard Border Out Post to ensure the visibility during the patrolling on the border," sources here said. From India side 2 IC R K Tripathi of 126 Bn BSF alongwith four officers and nine others and from Pakistan side Lt Col Javed, wing Commander of 24 Panchnaar along with fourteen others attended the meeting. "Cleanliness of wild bushes along the zero line and adjoining areas was discussed with Pakistan while issue of firing on 6-R BOP was also raised," sources added. Pak Rangers however, denied cross border firing from across the border. Earlier the flag meetings were held on June 14 and Jun 5 in which security related issues, 'unwanted' movement along the border and arrangements for annual Chambliyal fair were discussed. |
