| Outstanding Parliamentarian Award to Dr Karan Singh, RTCC rejoices | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 12: On hearing the news that Padma Vibhushan Dr. Karan Singh is being given 'Outstanding Parliamentarian Award' for the year 2012 by the President of India today, Raj Tilak Celebration Committee (RTCC) met at Jeo Pota Akhnoor to hail achievements of a great Dogra parliamentarian. According to press release, the meeting was attended included Sukhdev Singh Bhau, Thoru Ram Sharma, Deep Singh, Bhanu Pratap, Viajy Saraf, and S. Mahinder Singh. It was chaired by Th. K P Singh, Chairman of Raj Tilak Celebration Committee. Committee proposed to send him a telegram of congratulations on the conferment of this prestigious award and recounted his glorious contributions for the growth of democracy in India as a distinguished Parliamentarian from 1967 onwards. They wished him more additions to the long list of such national & international recognitions & awards. He was also complimented for enlightening the world from his intellect, wisdom and spiritual knowledge. Committee also expressed its gratitude for his personal indulgence in the glorious conduct of 17 June yearly Coronation Day Function at Jeo Pota where foundation of J&K was laid by his great grandfather Maharaja Gulab Singh in 1822. Felicitations were expressed in his favour on behalf of 'Tanda Tiger Force' of Dogra youths. |
