He further said that so many time patients and pregnant women struck in road blockades resulting severe consequences. According to police sources, three FIRs one in Kanachack and two in Gandhi Nagar Police station, have been registered against protestors. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Jammu Uttam Chand said that it is clear cut violation of law and anybody violate it would be booked under relevant sections of law. "In last week, we have registered three FIRs in different police stations in this regard", said SSP Jammu Uttam Chand adding that this has reduced the incidents of road blockade. Deputy Commissioner (DC), Jammu Ajit Kumar Sahu while talking to Early Times said "It is provision in Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) that illegal and intentional road blockade is violation of law".
