| SC extends deputation of MK Hanjura for one more year | | | Jammu, Aug 12 (JNF): The deputation of Senior Most Judicial Officer of State Higher Judiciary of J and K State Mr. MK Hanjura who has been appointed as Registrar in the Supreme Court in year 2013, is extended by the Supreme Court. As per the letter written to Registrar General of J&K High Court by Secretary General Supreme Court of India Ravindra Maithani and seeking services of MK Hanjura for one year more with effect from August 21, 2014. The state High Court of J&K has coveyed the concurrence of chief justice of J&K High Court for extending the period of MK Janjura for the period of one more year. M.K Hanjura belongs to Tehsil Chadoora District Budgam Kashmir. He completed his graduation in Arts from University of Kashmir and did LLB (Hons) from University of Kashmir and enrolled as pleader in the year 1980. He practised Law up to the year 1987. He was appointed as Munsiff in January 1987, promoted as Sub-Judge in November 1996 and appointed as District and Sessions Judge in the month of March 2003. He was inducted into the Selection Scale in September, 2009. Presently he is functioning as Principal District and Sessions Judge Kathua. He has distinction of serving in segments of Registry of the J and K High Court. |
