| Prof Jasrotia elected new Staff Secy GDC Kathua | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Aug 12: Teaching faculty of Government Degree College Kathua unanimously elected Prof. Sumanesh Jasrotia Associate Prof. in Chemistry as their new Staff Secretary for the current academic session.
Prof. Jasrotia in his address thanked the staff for reposing faith in him and assured to work for betterment of the College and Staff. The entire election process was carried out under the aegis of the Election Commissioners Dr. Sangeeta, Dr. Anita and Prof. P. K. Rao. Principal of the college, Dr. B. L. Gupta, who was invited on the occasion, greeted the new Staff Secretary and appreciated the role of Staff members for unanimous election. He advised the new staff secretary to work for the betterment of the staff and institution. He also reiterated that the teaching faculty has the onerous responsibility of discharging their duties with sincerity, dedication and commitment. Apprising the teaching fraternity of the challenges of the modern era, the Principal of the college stressed upon laying strong and vibrant foundations for GDC Kathua so that that the process of teaching learning reaches to a new height of excellence. The new staff secretary was greeted and felicitated with a bouquet of Flowers by the Principal of the college. The contribution of Ex staff Secretary Dr. Tejinder Kour was also highlighted and presented a bouquet of flowers. |
