| DB directs High Power Committee to submit Updated Report | | PIL regarding Regulation of Traffic in Jammu | | | Jammu, Aug 12: In the much publicized Public Interest Litigation regarding regulation of traffic in the city of Jammu, a Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Virender Singh and Justice Tashi Rabstan observed that Adv Meenakshi Salathia had saught some more time to file response to the status report filed by Jammu Development Authority. At this stage Sr. Adv DC Raina Court Counsel stated that High Power Committee Consituted by order of this Court has already filed its compliance report on the issues which report was taken on record. Upon this Division Bench directed High Power Committee to submit its latest updated Report upto August 2014 with regard to all the directions issued by this Court from time to time so that the main matter is taken up once for all on the next date of hearing in order to pass a comprehensive direction with regard to all the important issues. Division Bench also directed Sr. AAG Gagan Basotra to ensure that he would convey the order to Divisional Commissioner Jammu who is heading High Power Committee within this week only so that needful is done within next three weeks.
