Jammu, Aug 12: Strongly reacting to statement of Union Home Minister Raj Nath Singh for the implementation of PM's package amounting Rs1618.40 Crores announced in 2008, Kashmiri Pandit Conference ( KPC ) said that package for return and rehabilitation in the valley would be meaningless till they are rehabilitated with writ of Indian constitution. Kundan Kashmiri , President Kashmiri Pandit Conference ( KPC ) while addressing his party activists at New Delhi reacting to statement of Union Home Minister Raj Nath Singh for the implementation of PM package amounting rupees1618.40 crores announced in 2008 by previous Govt at the centre or revised one for return and rehabilitation of displaced KPs at their previous locations in the valley. Recalling that community already has rejected the said rehabilitation package as this package is linked with the return of Displaced KPs to previous locations. "This was the reason that not a single family of displaced KP community opted for rehabilitation in practical at respective previous locations in Kashmir valley from the last five years, despite an amount of Rs 8.35 Crore had released to the state Govt by centre to start with, as an advance, for the said purpose in 2008-2009..
