| SRINAGAR, Aug 18: Special Operations Group of police from Srinagar detained four persons from their respective homes in Pampore town of south Kashmir's Pulwama district, official sources told GNS Monday. They identified the four persons as Punjab National Bank employee (PNB) Farooq Ahmad Khandey of Batpora Ladu, Mudasir Ahmad Bhat (running a tyre shop in Pampore) of Kunibal Pampore, Jan Mohammad Khandey of Neij Pampore and Manzoor Ahmad Joo of Woyen Pampore.Sources said that the detained persons are being questioned and their role in connection with the Pampore attacks is being ascertained. |
