| Many Join PDP in Rajouri | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Aug 18: Several activists of different political parties have joined the PDP in presence of district president Abdul Qayoom Dar and Ch Qamar Hussain , PDP candidate from Rajouri constituency in corner meetings held here today.
These meetings were held at Thandikass, Thandapani ,Karian in Manjakote tehsil and were chaired by party candidate Qamar Chowdhary who was accompanied by other party leaders including Tazeem Dar, Haji Jamsheed, Nazar Mir,Maulvi Jameel,Hanief Jatt and others. While addressing the people, PDP leaders took dig over congress leader and local MLA Shabir Khan by saying that issues like shortage of basic amenities have increased many folds during last five years. They also alleged that present coalition government has failed in addressing several key issues of people and mis-governance has reached at its peak. PDP leaders said that present coalition government has undermined the peoples' faith in the politics because of its anti people policies. They added that days of NC-Congress coalition are numbered and people of the state are waiting for the time to teach them lesson for their misdeeds. PDP leaders appealed the people to support PDP for the betterment of the Peer Panjal Region. |
