| DB issued non-bailable warrants against three Directors | | Alleged duping of Rs 6.25 Crores by Janpriya Finance Company | | Jammu, Aug 18 (JNF) : In a petition filed by Balkar Singh and others against Janpriya Finance Investment Company and Ors, for allegedly duping innocent people to the tune of Rs 6.25 Cores, A Division Bench of State High Court Comprising Justice Virender Singh and Justice Tashi Rabstan issued non-bailable warrants against Debabrata Ghatak, Mohit Sircor and Chandra Kant Parasrampuria all residents of West Bengal and Directors of Janpriya Finance Investment Company. These non-bailable warrants have been issued in an application filed by one investor in which Division Bench directed Registrar Judicial Jammu to issue non-bailable warrants of arrest for effecting arrest of three persons namely Debabrata Ghatak, Mohit Sircor and Chandra Kant Parasrampuria executable through SSP Concerned within two months. Earlier Sr. AAG Gagan Basotra appearing for the state, stated that pursuant to warrants issued by Registrar Judicial on march 25, 2014, DGP had authorized certain police officials to trace three persons but could not trance out as none of them was found at the given address. After hearing Sr. AAG Gagan Basotra, Division Bench issued non-bailable warrants against three directors and sent the concerned SSP for execution within two months. |
