Jammu, Aug 18 : To express their resentment over alleged discrimination and injustice meted out to them by the central government, retired personnel of Para Military forces under the banner of All J&K Central Para Military Force (CPMF) Welfare Association staged protest at press club Jammu today.
The protesting members of the association complained that retired personnel of BSF, CRPF, ITBP, CISF, SSB and NSG are being considered degraded citizens of the world's largest and biggest democratic country.
They said that they are going to oppose and boycott the forthcoming election at all levels in protest of their long pending demands which include revision of pension pre 2006 retirees, ex-serviceman status, one rank one pension, widow pension and medical allowance. |
