Jammu, Aug 18: Kashmiri Pandit Conference( KPC) has expressed anguish over the proposed meeting of Pakistani envoy Abdul Basit with separatist leaders of Kashmir valley. According to press release, senior KP leader Kundan Kashmiri took serious note of invitation to Kashmiri separatists by Pakistani high Commission at New Delhi and strongly condemned such rougish and double standard behaviour of Pakistan ahead of foreign secretaries meet at Islamabad on Auguest 25th, 2014. KPC Chief also expressed surprise and dismay over opening the window for the talks between India and Pakistan at highest level for which modilities are being worked out by foreign secretaries of two Nations, Sujatha singh and AA Choudhary in Islamabad on August 25, 2014 when nothing has changed from Pakistani side in positive and continued to be rigid, unrealistic and selfish. The Cease fire voilations are going on constantly with heavy shellings, inflitration on boarders are going on at large scale, Army, Para- military forces and civilians are been killed in Kashmir valley by Pak terrorists regularly. Kundan Kashmiri KPC Chief requested Union government not to endorse and 'allow Pakistan envoy, Abdul Basit to talk with separatist leaders of Kashmir which include chairman of Hurriyat faction (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Syed Geelani chairman of Hurriyat(G), Shabir Shah and others.Re- acting over the statement of yog Guru baba Ram dev, who opposed passge of Kashmiri Hindu temple and shrine bill and threatend to launch an agitation if the JSC approved it on Auguest 19,2014, Kundan Kashmiri KPC Chief treated this statement most- unfortunate as Yog Guru has not annaylised this sensitive issue of Kashmiri pundits. |
