| ReZs get political parties' support to observe protest against discrimination | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 18: In protest against the discrimination with agriculture technocrats of Jammu division, the Rehbar- e-Ziraat of Jammu province organized an 'Insaaf Rally' here today at Press Club. The rally was organized under the chairmanship of state president of association Jammu Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) Dr Surinder Radotra. Dejected and frustrated over the apathetic and discriminatory attitude of the State Government, ReZs of Jammu Division invited all political, non-political, social and other organizations to discuss the issue of discrimination against the ReZs of Jammu division. Hundreds of ReZS assembled at the Press Club along with representatives of various political parties and other unions in support of the cause at hand. Lashing out at the Ministers of Coalition Government and other public representatives, Dr Surinder Radotra said that if the ministers and MLAs of Jammu division cannot address the discrimination against the people of Jammu region, they should reflect on their worth and position. The people of Jammu do not need the ministers for inaugurations of lanes and drains or for the construction of the same. It was unanimously declared by the political parties that if the state government did not take positive initiative to publish the regularization on list of ReZ of Jammu division with the next 7days, the entire Jammu division will unitedly give a complete Jammu bandh call. Senior Congress leaders and Former Minister s G S Charak and Manjit Singh, Pradesh Youth Congress Vice President Pranav Shagotra, BJP MLAs Ashok Khajuria, Ashwani Sharma, Panthers Party MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia, PDP leader Ashok Jogi, Panthers MLA Yash Pal Kundal and several others were present on the occasion. |
