| Ace of Spades Division organizes painting, quiz competitions | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Oct 2: Rajouri based Artillery Brigade under the aegis of Ace of Spades Division today organized painting and quiz competitions at Army Valley View Public School (AVVPS) for the students of various schools falling in the vicinity of Rajouri
Each competition was held in three categories i.e for the students of 3rd to 4th class, 5th to 6th class and 7th to 8th class.
A senior officer of the brigade said that the aim to hold such competitions was to give an impetus to the creative skill of the students from backward and far flung areas and to provide platform to express their hidden talent.
The theme of painting competitions were 'beauty of nature', save energy and save earth' and unity in diversity.
Ananya and Amav from AVVPS and Ira Chandan won the first three postions in first category of painting competition while Shamaiel Lodhi and Mehak from AVVP and Nafeesa from St Joseph convent bagged first three positions in 2nd category.
First three positions in 3rd category were won by Safia Anjum form Happy Home, Samiksha from AVVPS and Shaza of DPS.
In quiz competition Anshit of AVVPS, Rakshar from DPS and Archit from St Joseph bagged first three positions in 1st category while Samiksha and Saksham from AVVPS and Anand from Happy home were the first three winners in 2nd category and Amandeep from Happy Home, Vivek from AVVPS and Sahil from boys Hr SS won the first three positions. |
