Various social, political organisations launch Swacch Bharat Abhiyan

Jammu, Oct 2 : Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan in coordination with Ek Sath Rang Mandal , launched the "Swachh Bharat Mission Campaign" from Durga Bhawan Janipur, Jammu to promote the aims of clean India .
The pledge "Swachh Bharat" was taken to keep India clean and devote time 100 hours during the every years for five years , and also encourage the 100 persons to take this pledge by the 200 artistes of BLSK. Unison Cultural Troupe , Sangam Tru Art Production and Mukta Art and the general public. The Programe was inaugurated by the Chief Guest V.K.Magotra, Former Regional Director , Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Government of India and Dr. Tara Singh Charak ,Former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K Government.
RP Amla , Information Department, Anju Dogra of Health Department and Vijay Malla ,Director Producer of , IPTA and Raj Kumar Dogra international Music Therapist were guest of honors. . Specially awareness items prepared on the theme " Shaher Shaher aur aur Gaon-Gaon Main Sab Nain Chhapat Uthai Hai " Swachh Bharat Ho Swasth Bharat Chutki ."
Officials of Satyam Cement and TMT Saria Industries observed Gandhi Jayanti by donating blood in a "Blood Donation Camp" organized by "Red Cross Society" in District Hospital at Kathua. The blood was collected from twenty volunteers of Kathua based these two industries under the medical supervision. Donors were given refreshments and a certificate of appreciation for this service to humanity. On the occasion, an official of industries Davinder Verma said that any people who need the blood in emergency can get the help from our industrial management. Medical Superintendent Manoj Bhagat apprised the gathering with his motivational speech and said donating blood is a life saving attempt.
On the eve of 145th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, rich tribute were paid to the father of Nation later a cleanliness drive "SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN" on the call given by the Prime Minister of India, was launched at Sub-Divisional Magistrate Office Ghagwal participants pledged to follow the path shown by father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi & pledged to fulfill the dreams of Prime Minister of India. Before start of cleanliness drive, a devotional Song "Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram, Patit Pavan Sita Ram" sung by the participants and started cleanliness drive from Sub-Divisional Magistrate office passed through the Main Bazar Ghagwal & culminated at Narsingh Mandir.
"Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" by the Municipal Committee Hiranagar and Citizens Hiranagar Town. Jodh Raj and headed by the SDM Hiranagar Sohan Lal in which the Senior Cittizens of Hiranagar Town administrating of cleanliness pledge in Hindi language. All the citizens /officers, Officials will help in fulfilling the mission of "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" and cleanliness drive start from Municipal Committee Office Hiranagar toward Hospital road, main Bazar, Paccadanga Ramleela Ground, Sultana Chowk , Subash Chowk and Tehsil Office Hiranagar.
All the members of Morning Walkers Association Shastrinagar Park, started "Clean India '" campaign and cleaned the whole park as well as surrounding areas as per the wishes of prime Minister of India. This is very important step for the development of a country. The beautification of the Park has been going on war footing with the instructions and cooperation of Minister Raman Bhalla and due care of the Director of Floriculture KK Sharma. Now the Water sprinkler s have been installed in the park and shall be function able very soon. A large number of walkers/visitors who come in the morning and evening appreciates the steps taken to upgrade the park and also covey their thanks to the concerned authorities.
Lalded Women Welfare Society Jammu organized one day camp on "Safai Abhyan" at Mohalla Bhagwati Nagar Jammu in which different classes of people participated. All the interior streets of the mohalla were cleaned. In the end Santosh Basotra Secretary of the society specked on the occasion that for good health of the society it is necessary to keep clean our mother land as said by the Rashtra Pita Mahatma Gandhi and confirmed by our Prime Minister and made aware of the fact that uncleanness of the surroundings invites so many deceases.
District administration Ramban today launched its "Swatch Bharat" sanitation drive in Ramban district. In this regard an eventful programme was organised by the Rural Development Department Ramban in collaboration with Army under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Farooq Shah Bukhari.
The programme was attended by all district and sectoral officers hundreds of students of various schools, employees, Sarpanches, Panches and prominent citizens of Ramban. The mega awareness camp in the grounds of Higher Secondary School Ramban was followed by sanitation drive through the main road and alleys of Ramban town.
Ashok Kumar MLA Ramban was the chief guest on the occasion whereas prominent among those who attended included, Brigadier Bubesh Kumar, Nawab Din ADC Ramban , Dr Tahir Firdous ACR Ramban and senior Army and civil officers.
Speaking on the occasion MLA Ramban stressed on the need to adopt the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi in day to day life. He deliberated on Gandhiji's zeal for sanitation and impressed on inculcating the habit of cleanliness in the youth.
The DDC exhorted the participants to adopt the message of sanitation in their day to day life and keep focus on personal and community hygiene. He asked the officers to launch the sanitation drive in their respective offices and set an example in this regard.The participants were given awareness about the importance of Swachh Bharat Campaign and different facets of Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan programme by, Assistant Commissioner (Dev) Ramban, Dr Arvind Karwani, District Panchayat Officer Gul Hassan Kraipak.
The different aspects of personal, community and the environmental hygiene were delved at length by the speakers. Brigadier Bubesh Kumar S, SM, while talking at length on importance of sanitation assured the civil administration and general public of the full co-operation of Army in maintaining a neat and clean town.Following the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' on 2nd October, Government Super Speciality Hospital (SSH) Jammu launched the Abhiyaan in the institute today.
According to press release, Medical Superintendent Dr. Romesh Gupta took the initiative by taking the Broom and Mop in his hands, guiding and motivating the Hospital Staff and educating the public about basic sanitation and importance of cleanliness.
He along with the Senior Administrative Officials, RMO Dr. Saleem Bhatti and Dr. D.P. Singh, CMO and Senior Doctors accompanied by various Staff Members actively performed the Sanitation Activities in various areas of the hospital setting examples to be followed.
Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Poonch todayd organized a Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at its head quarter. According to press release, there were more than 100 youths from different Youth Clubs and 22 NYC's were participated in the programme. In this regard NYK Poonch work on spring wash and other activities, the chair person was Pardeep Kumar Sharma Senior Leader of BJP District Poonch was also present there.
This programme was organized under the guideline of Som Datt Zard DYC Poonch and Kanwal Kumar Sharma ji. The vote of thanks was presented by Zuber Mughal president of Peer Panchal Youth Association Sheindara on this occasion.
On the eve of birth day of Mahatama Gandhi Ji Swachh Bharat Clean India programme got launched in SKPA Udhampur by Director SKPA Danesh Rana, along with AD (Admn) Romesh Kotwal, RK Rao and four hundred (400) other trainees and staff of Police academy Udhampur.
As per the scheme launched by Prime Minister of India Narinder Modi, all the Police officers and Police officials participated in the Swachh Bharat scheme. The programme will be carried throughout the year and Director Police Academy has issued strong directions that cleanliness is an essential part for healthy life body and mind. It was decided that every week there shall be a cleanliness programme be followed in letter and spirit. All G.Os of the Police academy has been directed to supervise and participate in the weekly cleanliness programmers .Swachh Bharat scheme has been widely appreciated by all officers and officials of the academy. Besides this number of other issues related to personal and institutional cleanliness were discussed and subsequently strict orders have been issued to follow the drive by all. Director Police academy will be personally supervising all the activities of the programme.
Central Railside Warehouse Company Ltd launched Swachh Bharat Campaign, a Public Sector Enterprise, working under the administrative control of Department Food and Public Distribution, Government of India.
The company organized a Swachh Bharat Campaign at its Corporate Office on the Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of Nation. KU Thankachan, Managing Director, CRWC administered Swachhta pledged to all officials of CRWC present on the occasion.
On the eve of birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Kiran Wattal along with Jt. Commissioner, Kapil Sharma, Executive Engineers, Health Officer and other officers conducted a sanitation drive.
According to press release, derive was started from Satwari, Gandhi Chowk and closed at Mubarak Mandi Jammu.
At various stations Commissioner, JMC pledged an oath among local people, Social Workers, Teachers & Students that we should make our India neat and clean and we should convey this message to hundreds of people to contribute this service for this Social cause.
With an aim to promote awareness on hygiene, waste management and sanitation, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) initiated a cleanliness drive under "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" from Village Shahzadpur in Gho Brhamana panchayat of district Samba.
Surinder Singh, District Development Manager of NABARD, who launched the programme, used broom and shovel to clean the streets.
On this occasion, Tej Ram, Ajitpal Sharma, members of Village Development Committee and hundreds of villagers including women and children participated in this cleanliness drive.
The New India Assurance Co. Ltd, Branch Office, Bari Brahmana today held 'Swachh Bharat Mission' on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at Bari Brahmana Jammu.
Branch Manager, Geeta Bhardwaj along with the staff members of the Branch office starting cleanliness drive and took the Swachhta Pledge also.
Geeta Bhardwaj, while discussing the issue with her staff desired to cover this Mission from 2014 to 2019 wherever we may be posted during this period.
Staff members of the Branch who participated in the drive are Munshi Ram Kaith, S. Jagjit Singh, Pawan Magotra, Dhani Ram, Naresh Kumar, Mohan Lal, Manparkash and Vaishno Devi.
As a part of 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' launched by Government of India across the country, Dulhasti Power Station of NHPC Limited observed the campaign for a week.
During the week, cleanliness drive was undertaken by Officers/employees at various sites of Dulhasti like Dam, Power House, Shalimar area, Administration block and colonies.
Earlier as part of the 'Swachh Vidyalaya Abhiyan' to keep the schools clean, Sh. Bhat laid foundation stone for Construction of Toilets in 05 Govt. Schools like GPS, Machigad, GPS, Bindraban, Girls High School, Sangrambhatta, GPS, Hasti and GPS, Traksana in the presence of Bipin Gupta, Chief Engineer (Civil), NHPC, Sr. Officers of NHPC, Panches/Sarpanches of the area, Sh. Subash Sharma, Zonal education Officer, Headmasters/Teachers of the schools.
Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (SNCF) participated in the clean India drive with devotees of the Mission assembled at General Bus Stand and Railway station Jammu where cleanliness drives were launched.
Ajit Singh zonal incharge said that with the benign blessings of His Holiness Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, all the branches of the Sant Nirankari Mission numbering about 3000 in the country will organize the cleanliness of public places in general and their own surroundings in particular with all the devotees participating overwhelmingly.
Following the 'Swachh Bharat' Campaign to realize Mahatma Gandhi's dream of 'Clean India' on the call given by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 42nd Bn SSB today organized a cleanliness drive at Channi Himmat,Jammu.The Drive was initiated under the Commandant of Sham Kapoor ,commandant SSB 42nd Bn. The commandant along with other officers of the battalion participated in the Campaign.
