JAMMU, Oct 7: Treasurer of the Mountaineering Association of Jammu and Kashmir, Shawetica Khajuria has been nominated as manager of the North Zone Sport Climbing team for the 20th National Championship scheduled to take place at Kolkata in first week of December.
"Shawetica's nomination has been made by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation, North Zone Committee, New Delhi. The North Zone team is comprised of five climbers from J&K," informed general secretary of Mountaineering Association of J&K, Ram Khajuria. Shawetica, a qualified national judge in sport climbing and trained mountaineer, is also an executive member of Indian Mountaineering Foundation North Zone Committee.
