10/7/2014 11:09:59 PM
Jammu, Oct 7: All Indian Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) though its open letter to Chairman State Selection Board (SSB) has sought justice to aspirants who had applied in response to advertisements for the post of teachers made in 2012 and 2013 and many qualified candidates who applied for the Post of teachers and appeared in written tests in the month of September 2013 for Jammu District and likewise in other Districts of J&K State called for interviews but those whose names were deleted in the second list and who approached to the High Court."These candidates have never been called for interviews and instead their dates for interviews were postponed and till date no new dates were announced and with this the whole process of selection of teachers in District Jammu remained with held for the reasons best known to the authority of the Service Selection Board and with this two years have gone for the whole process but yet no result is there," a letter from office bearers AIBCU addressed to Chairman SSB J&K stated. This selected section of aspirants are apprehending that code of conduct during polls may further hamper their future, it said and added if the process of teachers appointment is with held under the code of conduct then there will be another delay of atleast one year and this will further put them on tail of the seniority list in comparison to the teachers appointed in other districts."AIBCU urged Chairman SSB to keep their seniority intact at par with other teachers so appointed in other districts if any.
