| VHP criticizes notification issued by Commissioner Commercial Taxes | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 7: Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP) has alleged that the attitude of the state government towards Jammu was discriminatory as the notification issued by the Commissioner Commercial taxes Jammu has targeted the trader & business community of Jammu, who have suffered because of their investment & recoveries from the valley have totally washed away & there is hardly any chance of its recovery.
"Due to floods loss of life, crops, land, house collapse much higher in Jammu region as compared to that of Srinagar. The State Government is ignoring the factual position & projected a partial picture which is highly discriminatory.
The notifications are discriminatory for business community of Jammu keeping in view the discrimination with the Jammu people the VHP has decided to fully support the cause of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry & in the event of any agitation the VHP unconditionally render its support to the agitation likely to be launched by the Chamber of Commerce & Industry", the VHP members said. |
