GMC searching pockets of firing affected people: Aditi Sharma 10/7/2014 11:45:05 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 7: Expressing anguish over the behavior of Govt Medical College hospital for charging fee from border firing victims hospitalized at GMC Bakshi Nagar here on Tuesday. BJP leader Aditi Sharma said despite instructions, GMC is charging CT Scan fee from the injured people. Alongwith other BJP workers, she protested against the behavior of GMC forcing authorities to refund the charged fee. Aditi Sharma alongwith other workers visited Government Medical College hospital and inquired health of injured in Pak shelling. Firing victims alleged that they are being charged for CT scan and other test. On yesterday, BJP MP and state president Jugal Kishore Sharma has asked GMC authorities to provide free treatment to people injured in Pak shelling. Despite instructions, GMC authorities are charging fee from the injured who have face the brunt of Pak firing on International Border. GMC authorities are searching pockets of firing affected people, Aditi Sharma alleged. She said at this hour, these people need affection and help, but unfortunately sidelining the humanity, some people are hell bent to charge money from these affected people for whom residing near IB is compulsion as their ancestor village and fields cann't be shifted.
