| Water Outlet passages blocked by politicians in power: Wazir | | |

JAMMU, Oct 7: Bahujan Samaj Party State General Secretary and Candidate Nagrota Assembly Constituency Rakesh Wazir during his tour of Kanachadgal and Katal Batal areas falling in Nagrota Assembly Constituency said that most of the water out let passages in state including rivers and Khuds are encroached directly or indirectly by the politicians in power or their men and said that a thorough independent judicial enquiry should be conducted into that and proper action should be taken so that the devastation which took place this time may not be repeated in future. Wazir said that there is a well net nexus in our state in which Politicians, Revenue officials and other government agencies are hand in glove and they encroached all the water outlet passages including rivers, streams and Khuds and as a result when these rains started, there was no outlet for water to go and as a result the water took the turn towards villages and cities which wreaked havoc. |
