| Congress manifesto replica of NC: AIBCU | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 24: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) today said that congress Manifesto is nothing but a replica with special opposition of the NC the leading coalition partners. According to press release, the AIBCU said that both parties completed the six years tennure of governance and none of the public issue was solved.
"In sixteen-point Manifesto of Congress and other Political parties likely to follow the State's OBCs whose population in the state is 60% and whose due share of 27% reservation has been marred by National Conference and Congress; could not get even a mention in the Manifesto", the union said, adding that both Prof. Soz and Azad have adopted anti-people and treacherous policies only to rule the state with no public interests. "Promising reservation to IB people is a funny manifesto. Those who deserved and the Apex Court's Judgment of 1992 on Mandal Report gave 27% reservation to the OBCs of the country; you did not obey the Apex Court's order", the AIBCU said. The union further said that Congress, NC and PDP talk much about the Art. 370.
"They must first introspect into themselves whether these political parties made use of Art 370 for the benefits of the state subjects for whom the special status is meant for or they mis-used it for their dynasty rule. That is why N.C, Congress & PDP favoured the 20% RBA, 3% ALC and announced hollow 5% reservation for Paharies only to get vote benefits", they added. |
