Early Times Report
Kathua, Nov 24 : All efforts of the senior BJP leaders to pacify the annoyed BJP leaders failed to give any results because majority of the leaders are adamant to field a candidate against official candidate of the party on Kathua assembly segment. Today former organisation secretary of J&K, BJP, Ajay Jamwal, who is presently organisation secretary of Punjab BJP, reached Kathua and held one to one meetings with annoyed leaders but his efforts could not give any results. Sources in the BJP said that Ajay Jamwal has personal relations with most of the leaders who have raised banner of revolt against party leadership for "selling" party mandate to an outsider. These leaders bluntly told Ajay Jamwal that they have high regard for him but they have their anger against RajyaSabha member AvinashRaiKhanna, who is incharge of J&K BJP. They said that Khanna with the connivance of some J&K leaders of BJP has sold party mandate to an outsiders. Sources said that BJP leaders told Ajay Jamwal that he is not aware of the deal between Khanna and those who got mandate for Kathua. Sources said that except big leader JanakBharti, all other leaders held meetings with Ajay Jamwal, who has strong network in Jammu and have personal relations with most of the BJP leaders of J&K BJP. Angry BJP leaders told Ajay Jamwal that all is not well in BJP and those who are at the helm of the affairs are minting money in the name of elections. |
