Mendhar man's name figures at 6 places in voter list 11/24/2014 11:46:51 PM M S Nazki MENDHAR, Nov 24 : A man of Harooni, Gursai, in Mendhar here has his name mentioned at six places in the voter list of Hamutta area. Mohammad Sher, son of Lal Din, originally hails from Harooni but his name does not figure in the voter list of Harooni polling station. On inquiry, he found that his name had been wrongly mentioned in the voter list of polling station No 103 of Harmutta. What surprised him more was the mention of his name at six place in the voter list from serial No 813 to 818. After the matter came to his notice, PDP general secretary Nadeem Ahmad Khan took up the matter with Mendhar returning officer Romesh Kumar and also lodged a formal complaint in this regard. When contacted, the returning officer said he had taken cognizance of the matter and the mistake would be rectified soon.
