CEO takes note of campaign by Govt employees 11/24/2014 11:48:13 PM Rajouri, Nov 24 : Chief Election Officer (CEO), District Election Officer (DEO) and district Election Complaint Cell constituted in the office of Deputy Commissioner has been receiving several complaints against government employees for taking part in the election campaign in favor of particular party. On Sunday flying squad has sealed a room of boys government higher secondary school at Rajouri in which some relief material was dumped by the supporters of a National party and the involvement of some employees (staff members) was also came to light in this episode. In one such complaint lodged by a youth leader of People Democratic Party (PDP) with CEO, a Patwari, a Girdawar, a Naib tehsildar and a SHO have been advising voters to vote i favor of BJP candidate. CEO, vide his office letter number 1702/CEO/Elec/LA/2014/433-434 has directed Nodel Officer, MCC, Rajouri to conduct the investigation into the complaint. Vide his office letter No MCC/R/Asse/93-96 dt 24/11/14 , Nodal officer MCC has directed the Returning Officer (RO) to verify the complaint immediately and submit the factual report.
