| Government Polytechnic organizes Annual Sport Week | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 24: Government Polytechnic, Bikram Chowk Jammu organized Annual Sports Week in the college campus.
According to press release, the event was started on November 24 and would be culminated on November, 29 in which Inter-Department Tournaments would be held in the various disciplines of Cricket, Volleyball, Table-Tennis, Badminton, Chess and Carrom.
The Annual Sports Week was inaugurated today by Navin Aggarwal, Director General, Youth Services and Sports Department, J&K Government. The function was started by lightening of lamp.
The welcome address was presented by Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal of the college who gave the detailed presentation of chronology of the events that will take place in the week long Annual Sports Meet in which Inter-Department competitions will be held in different sports disciplines.
While speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest of the function, Navin Aggarwal who declared the sports meet open and motivated the students to participate in sports activities as sports keep themselves physically and mentally fit and also inculcate discipline, brotherhood and true sportsmanship. |
