| Over 700 cases settled in pre Lok Adalat at Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Dec 3: As a part of National LokAdalat, in first 3 days of week-long Pre Lok Adalat session held at District Kishtwar court complex before the National mega Lok Adalat settled for 6th of this month.
During the course of last three days, two benches comprises of Principal District and Session judge Kishtwar Bala Jyoti and Munsif Kishtwar Syed Adnan decided these cases which include the cases of pending compensation, insurance claims, criminal cases, pension cases, etc. Bar Association Kishtwar also extended its support to this Lok Adalat and also provided free assistance to various litigants who could not effort the fee.
While talking to "Early Times", Principal District and session Judge Kishtwar Bala Jyoti said that target of over 2000 cases of various nature will be decided during week long LokAdalat. She said that the aim and objectives of organising of LokAdalat is to dispose off the long pending cases; that not only save the money of both the parties, but also save the precious time.
She also hails the efforts of staff members, Bar Association President Kishtwar O P Parihar, Advocate Khurshid Dev and others for their active support. She said that with heavy rush of litigants, the number of cases might go beyond 2000. She said that administration has also forwarded revenue cases,Labour court has also forwarded the cases for speedy disposal in Lok Adalat. |
