Jammu, Dec 3: Viraj Kala Kendra Gandhi Nagar organized on the spot painting competition in connection with weeklong celebrations of birth anniversary of Vidya Ratan Khajuria, an eminent sculptor, artist and a writer of state.
According to press release, G M Balwan, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu was the Chief guest and Shahid Mohmad Dar, SDM, Jammu South, was the Guest of Honour.
G M Balwan appreciated the efforts being made by the Kendra for the promotion of art and culture. He said that his department will be on the side of Raj Bharti in respect of promotion of art & culture in the state. Prizes were given away to the winners of he competitions. |
