JMC seizes tobacco products 12/4/2014 12:07:21 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 3: Health and Sanitation wing of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today seized the tobacco product here today under the supervision of Health Officer Dr. Saleem Khan. According to press release, during the drives 7500 Packets i.e. 5 Lacs pouches of unclaimed Gutkha of different brands costing an amount of more than Rs. 5 Lacs was seized. The product so seized is a banned item under COTP Act 2003 by the State Govt. The stock was destroyed by a team of officers / officials of Health & Sanitation Wing of Jammu Municipal Corp. at Municipal dumping ground Bhagwati Nagar Jammu in accordance with Standard Operating procedure.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
