JAMMU, Jan 1: Organised by the Udhampur District Indian Style Wrestling Association, the 10th Udhampur District Championship shall be held on January four at Peer Baba Akhara, Roun Domail.
This was decided in a meeting of the Association held under the chairmanship of president, J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma. The competition shall be held in the weight categories of 55 kg, 61 kg, 67 kg, 75 kg, 85 kg and 85 kg up to 120 kg following the laid down norms of the Indian Style Wrestling Association of India.
Among others who attended the meeting were Virender Sharma, Dharam Singh, Om Parkash Verma, Satish Kumar, Vijay Singh (Viju), Deepak Anand, Pankaj Sadhotra, Rajinder Kumar (Sonu), Tulinder Kumar, Laxhman Singh Katoch, Yash Paul Singh and Lochan Singh. |
