JAMMU, Jan 1: Semifinals position has been cleared in the ongoing Jammu District (under-19 boys) Hockey Tournament, organised by Hockey Jammu and Kashmir at K K Hakhu Stadium, here today.
Teams reaching the last four stages of the competition included Zorawar Club Satwari, Guru Nanak Nagar Club (GNNC), Sittu Club Simbal Camp and MBS Makhanpur, Simbal.
Now, in the semifinals, scheduled for tomorrow, Zorawar Club shall meet Sittu Club at 1 pm, followed by the second match between GNNC and MBS Makhanpur at 2 pm.
Earlier, in the last league tie, played today, Zorawar Club defeated GNNC by four goals to nil. Ramandeep Singh and Yog Raj netted two goals each thereby helped the side made it a one-sided contest.
