Fog: 26 trains rescheduled, 84 cancelled | | | Agencies
NEW DELHI, Jan 1: Fog and cold wave conditions continued to prevail in most parts of north India on Thursday. Fog disrupted rail traffic with services of over 100 trains being affected in the region. According to railways, 84 trains were cancelled and 26 rescheduled. Moreover, many trains were running late causing severe inconvenience to passengers. Prevailing cold conditions have thrown normal life out of gear at several places in Punjab and Haryana. The cold wave continued across Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday night as temperatures remained very low in the valley and the Ladakh region. J&K Met department officials said the cold wave will continue in the state. |
