Rajouri, Jan 1: National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) today organized a programme to implement the Area Development Scheme (ADS) on Dairy Sector in Rajouri district.
According to press release, District Development Commissioner Jitendra Kumar Singh, the Chief General Manager of NABARD, SA Pandy was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Singh appreciated the efforts made by NABARD to formulate the scheme and its implementation in the district Rajouri. He informed that there was huge scope of dairy sector in such district and the activity will generate the employment opportitunities and also increase milk production in the district.
Meanwhile, SA Pandey participants informed that Area Development Scheme aims at to enhance the production and marketing of clean milk, capacity building of farmers for undertaking dairy farming as comme and increase employment opportitunities for the rural unemployed youth.
Chief Planning Officer, Hamid Choudhary, District Development Manager, Des Raj, Lead District Manager, Anoop Bhat, Deputy Director, Harbans Sharma were also present on the occasion. |
