| 'Nagar Kirtans' organized in Ramgarh | | | Early Times Report
Vijaypur, Jan 1: The members of Sikh Community hailing from Ramgarh Rakh Chang and its surrounding areas organized a Nagar Kirtan and Satsang ahead of Parkash Utsav of Guru Gobind Singh Ji in which large number of devotees participated.
Early this morning the members of Sikh Community assembled at Gurudawara Rakh Chang and took out a procession from Gurudawara Vijaypur which after passing through the border village Ramgarh, Chak Slarian culminated at Gurudawara Badiyan. The procession was led by Panj Pyaras attired in a traditional dress walked in front of the procession while the chanting of holy shabad by devotees and Ragis created a spiritual ambiance in the area. Some enthusiast community members performed "Gathka' 0 the traditional war/martial skills which left the onlookers and the devotees spell bound.
Meantime Gurudawara Parbandak Committee has arranged Langer in Gurudawara and served meals to the sangat (gathering) while stalls of fruits, tea and eatables were organized by devotees.
The head of Gurudawara Parbandak Committee enroure the procession preached the Holy Gurwani and appealed the sangat to follow the preaching of the Holy Gurus to maintain brotherhood and harmony in social set up. |
