Jammu, Apr 29: 3rd Additional Sessions Judge/ Fast Track Court YP Kotwal rejected the bail application of Ashwani Kumar who was involved in rape with a married woman.
While rejecting the bail, the 3rd Additional Sessions Judge/ Fast Track Court YP Kotwal observed that the accused was involved in a gang rape case and the nature of offence with which the accused has been charged, they will jump over the bail and tamper with the prosecution witnesses, who are yet t be examined. Moreover release of the accused at this stage and their remaining outside will cause deleterious effect on the minds of general public and also thwart the cause of justice thus with these observations Court rejected the bail application. |
