| Govt committed to overhaul administrative setup: Bali Bhagat | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Apr 29: The present Government under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Syed is very keenly contemplating on the ways of weeding out corruption and dead wood and encouraging honesty and integrity in the administration" said Minister of Social Welfare, Forest, Ecology and Environment Bali Bhagat today at Dak Banglow Batote. Interacting with the people at public grievance redressal meet at Batote during his Kishtwar visit, the Minister took stock of the people's issues and listened to their demands. The representatives of various areas put before the Minister various demands relating to upgradation of infrastructure in health, PHE, education, road connectivity and civic amenities. They highlighted the need for expansion of the Bus stand at Batote and demanded posting of adequate staff in the Emergency Hospital Batote. The people also informed about the damages caused to the structures at Sanasar and adjoining locality of the Nashri Tunnel due to landslides. Demanding improvement in the Education sector, the people sought early filling of vacancies of Principal in GHSS Batote and ZEO Batote. The Minister while interacting with the people told that the present Government is committed to curb the menace of corruption in the state and make the people of the state feel a clear change in the system. He said that the present Government is keen to run the service delivery system on three basic principles of transparency, accountability and performance. Responding to the demands put -forth by the people, the Minister assured to take up these with the concerned Ministers in the due course of time for early action. |
