| BJP membership drive grand success: Yudhvir Sethi | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 29: Senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi along with BJP leaders Narottam Sharma and Vipan Shastri visited the enrolment camp at Bantalab here today. On the occasion, Yudhvir Sethi lauded the role of Jaswinder Kour who by organizing the camp did a commendable job of enrolling over 5000 members and the drive is still continuing. "Efforts of Kour need encouragement as she has shown commendable dedication towards the enrolment drive and has set a new mark for others to follow," Sethi highlighted. He said the membership drive launched by Party President Amit Shah has received overwhelming response all over the country and more and more people from different walks of life are joining the party, adding that BJP has created history by becoming single largest political party with maximum number of members in world. "We have already crossed the national target of 10 crore members and very soon target of J&K for 10 lakh members would be achieved," he added. Jassi, Kanchan, Komal, Harpreet Singh, Rishikesh, Rajeev, Anu Pandita and Rajat Ghardhari were among the prominent people who were present on the occassion. Sethi congratulated the party workers who have worked hard to make the membership drive a grand success in the country as well as in Jammu and Kashmir, adding that in the state already the membership drive has crossed 8 lacs and shortly the drive will reach its targeted figure. "Overwhelming response to the membership drive is a clear indication of the fact that more and more people are posing faith in ideology of BJP," he added. |
