Jammu/April Kathua police seized a truck carrying the consignment of 780 Corex bottles here in Nagri area, under the jurisdiction of the Kathua police station, on Wednesday.
As per reports, during naka checking, police intercepted a truck which was on way to Jammu from Punjab. Police officials said that during frisking of the truck, police recovered the bottles of Corex, packed in the fruit box, accordingly the driver of the truck was arrested on spot. The accused has been identified as Harmeet Singh s/o Pritam Singh of Bishnah, they said, adding, the truck bearing registration number JK08/7789 was also seized on spot. A case in this connection stand registered with the police, officials maintained.
