| 60 students visit P/S Surankote to know police functioning | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 29: In order to make young generation about better understanding of Police functioning around 60 children of Higher Secondary School Boys/Girls Surankote along with civil society were invited to Police Station Surankote. According official spokesperson, the aim of the visit was to provide a firsthand knowledge of Police functioning and its objectives as a public service agency. "Students were educated about the need for maintaining tolerance towards their parents and society and became law abiding citizens, he said and added, "the children are change agents and together with police they can transform the society into a productive one." Official spokesperson said, "The visit of student in Police units is the initiative of DGP J&K K Rajendra and is being implemented across the State in the Police Stations and today's visit was supervised by SSP Poonch S Jatinder Singh Johar and was conducted by DySP PC Surankote Ajay Sharma alongwith SHO PS Surankote Masoof Ahmed. |
