| Mvis organises plethora of activities | | | Jammu, Apr 29 : MV International School organized plethora of activities in the premises of the school. Inter House football Final for classes VI to VIII, was conducted in the football ground. Edison House and Newton House fought against each other in finals. The match went down the wire to penalty shoots where Pradhuman -VII, Khushgar-VIII, Adhiraj-VI & Sameer-VII of Edison house hit the goals and Vishal-VII, Neeraj-VIII & Udayveer-VII of Newton House shot the ball to the goal. Edison House won by 4 to 3 goals. S C Bhardwaj, District Sports Officer, Samba witnessed the match as a 'Chief Guest'. Vijay Singh Slathia, Zonal Physical Education Officer, Vijaypur and Anirudh Slathia, Senior Physical Education Teacher, were also present as a 'Guests of Honor'. The Principal K L Dogra welcomed the guests and briefed them about the activities. On other hand Inter House Kho-Kho for girls was conducted in the assembly ground. Einstein House and Newton house played the finals and Einstein won the match and Newton House stood 'Runners up'.
The Chief Guest S C Bhardwaj appreciated the Management, Principal of the school and faculty for such efforts. He also quoted that after watching such arrangements the parents of MVIS students had done wonderful work by getting their child admitted here. Sandeep Singh Slathia, Guest of Honor was also astonished with the way number of activities were organized in the school. Anirudh Slathia also said this institution is providing a wonderful platform to the children. The Chairman of the School, Shri Hira Lal Abrol, blessed the children for the events and requested the faculty members to organize more activities to enhance their skills. Gourav Abrol, Director of the school thanked the dignitaries for their valuable time. |
