| APS celebrates 33rd 'AWES Raising Day ' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 29 : Army Public School (APS) Damana celebrated 33rd 'AWES Raising Day' with great pride and exuberance in the school premises itself. According to press release, a special assembly was organized which was graced by few officers of local formation, Dr. Renu Gupta, Principal APS Damana, staff and the students. On this occasion, Special talks were delivered by the teachers to apprise and sensitize the students about the formation of AWES to cater the need of educating the children of Army personnel. Besides, the teachers also spoke on the topics like 'Joining NDA as a Career' and choosing Professional Colleges run by AWES. During the 'Oath Taking Ceremony' which was administered by Dr. Renu Gupta, Principal APS Damana, the entire teaching fraternity of APS Damana took a pledge to be fully committed to the great mission of teaching by providing 'Quality Education' to the students. The whole ambience of the school echoed with a group song sung by the students of Rani Laxmi Bai House highlighting the initiatives of Army Public Schools. In his address, the Chief Guest made a special mention about discipline and moral values as the two indispensable parameters for success in life. |
