KISHTWAR, Apr 29 : Taking the Governance to the doorsteps of people, Minister of State for Revenue and R&B, Sunil Sharma today held two public grievance camps at Khattan and Bhatta villages of Palmar area of District Kishtwar. At both the place people gave a warm welcome to the Minister who was accompanied ADDC Kishtwar, ACD Kishtwar, XEn R&B Kishtwar, XEn R&B Marwah, XEn PHE Kishtwar, XEn PDD Kishtwar, Tehsildar Kishtwar , CEO Kishtwar, CMO Kishtwar, CAO Kishtwar and other officers . The people of the both the areas highlighted their various problems and hardships being faced by them. These include demand for new link roads, shortage of teaching staff , health infrastructure, demand for upgradation of schools and compensation to the land acquired. People also apprised the Minister about the shortage of ration supply and power infrastructure. They demanded irrigation facilities for their crops. Addressing the people the Minister informed that new contractual lecturers have already been deployed to the GHSS Palmar, New Water supply scheme for the area is also in offing. New toilets for male and females will be constructed in the school, strict monitoring of attendance of Education and Health will be ensured and Ration supply be regularized. New PMGSY roads to the unconnected villages will be taken up soon. Regarding the day-to-day routine problems of the people, the Minister directed the concerned officers to immediately take necessary action in the direction of mitigation of public grievances. On the occasion the Minister also distributed PRCs, RBA and Caste Certificates to the school children under the project MADAD that was launched recently by him. |
