KNIT celebrates Prakash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev ji 11/12/2016 11:31:47 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 12: Kotwal National Institute of Teaching Bharat Nagar Talab Tillo celebrated Guru Nanak Dev ji's Guruparv in school Premises. A Dewan was organised to mark the Utsav. The students and the faculty participated in this function. The students recited the Gurbani and shabad - kirtan on this occasion. The speakers impressed upon the students and others to follow the teachings of the Guru. It was felt that the need of the hour is to follow the teachings of Guru Nanak who gave the message of Universal Brotherhood- 'Sanji Walta'. The Director of the school Prof. J L Kotwal who was the main dignitary and the Principal Mam were presented with 'Saropa' on the occasion. The key note address was delivered by Dr. Baljeet Singh a senior faculty member. 'Prashad' was distributed among the students.
