Only sports stadium in shambles 11/12/2016 11:36:05 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, Nov 12: Poonch has huge sports talent and over the years, but no big plan is formulated for encouraging sports. The only sports stadium Poonch is lacking various types of facilities and absences of facilities are proving as a havoc for budding sportspersons of Poonch. Work on various projects started years ago and not completed even after years. The other day, a marriage function was allowed to take place in stadium premises and this action has raised a question mark on those who allowed the stadium to be used for the purpose other than sports. People said that it reflects cheap mindset of those sports/administration officials who did this act of nonsense by giving permission to the said function. They said that administration must encourage sports activities in the said stadium rather than allowing the stadium for marriage functions.
