Early Times Report Poonch, Nov 12: Although Jammu and Kashmir government is claiming to provide neat and clean system of governances in state, the Department of Sheep Husbandry is defunct in Poonch district. According to the reports from many rural areas of Poonch district, people showed their resentment over the negligence of concern authorities. Locals from the rural areas of Mandi, Mendhar, Surankote and Poonch in this regard informed Early Times that there is no system of governances in the concern department. Wali Mohammad Sheikh, Shabir Ahmed, Azad Chouhan, Abas Malik, Mohammed Jafeed, Iqbal Khanday, Ajaz Ahmed, Jahangir Hussain of Loran, Mangaar, Khaneter, Seri Khwaja, Banwat, Bandichechian, Sawjian and Fatehpur expressed the performance of the department as null. They said there is no proper investigation by higher authorities and state government, so the employees and officers of the department snowed their carelessness towards their duties. They said "they never have seen the centres of the said department opened". They appealed to chief minister Mehbooba Mufti to intervene into the matter personally and take strong action against district officer of concern department. While taking official comments, Chief Sheep Husbandry V K Bhalla didn't replied to the reporter. |
