JKIM stages protest against union, state govts | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Feb 22: Jammu and Kashmir Insaaf Movement (JKIM) today staged a massive protest demonstration against Union and state governments in Poonch under the supervision of Javid Iqbal Reshi, the chairman of the movement. Other who presented the occasion were Azad Chouhan, Abdul Rashid Shahpuri, Saheem Jaffar, Mohd Kabir, Mohd Saleem Khari, Ibrahim Lone and many others who raised heavy slogans against governments. Speaking on the occasion demonstrators alleged governments that governments are ignoring Peer Panchal region since independence. Government has sanctioned four Passport Sewa Kendras for Baramulla, Anantnag, Kathua and Udhampur districts which are 74, 61, 81 and 72 kilometers respectively from Srinagar and Jammu cities whereas border district Poonch which is about 300 kilometers away from Jammu, they said. They further alleged that all governments have already ignored rights of the region since independence. Legislators who were supposed to raised the inspiration of the downtrodden masses of the region became puppets a in the hands of governments at the cast of Inhabitants. They have demanded for early sanction of Passport Sewa Kendra for Peer Pnchal region. If governments failed to sanction PSK for Peer Panchal region at the earliest, JK Insaaf Movement will stage protest at large. |
