HEM for handing over case to CBI
Murder of minor at Hiranagar
2/22/2018 11:15:16 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Feb 22: Hindu Ekta Manch Hiranagar today condemned the defamatory campaign launched by the separatist leadership in the state against Hindu Ekta Manch which has been spearheading the movement for an impartial inquiry into the tragic murder of a minor in Hiranagar area.
Hindu Ekta Manch has condemned in unequivocal terms the alleged murder of the minor girl in Rassana area of Hiranagar and demanded that the real culprits be given exemplary punishment as per law of the land.
Manch stated that the way the whole incident has been handled by State Govt. shows an inclination to communalize an utterly criminal act. It is also manifested from the content of this concerted campaign of communalizing a murder that the campaigners have already come to the conclusion about who is the culprit or who is to be made as a culprit and thrust this opinion on the police inquiry already going on. This campaign has undermined the inquiry conducted by the police and tried to influence it as well as launching a smear campaign against the people living in Hiranagar-Kathua area.
The Manch stated that it was appalling and suffocating that the Chief Minister of the State has become a willing tool in this campaign.
How come the Chief Minister issued a tweet before an inquiry giving a clear verdict that deceased minor was raped and the arrest accused were rapists and guilty of crime of murder?
The spokesman of the Manch added that the selective way in which those at the helm of affairs in the State government have acted to various acts of sabotage, subversion and terrorism, has affected the confidence of the people of Jammu in this Government.
When the Govt chooses to be selective and discriminatory in its behavior, the people of the State become vulnerable. Hindu Ekta Manch has chosen to stand up to communal forces who want to bring about destruction of the communal amity in the State. Hindu Ekta Manch has chosen to voice its concerns that the entire Jammu including the areas of Kathua and Hiranagar is being subjected to a ferocious demographic invasion abetted by the elements in the Govt.
HEM appealed to Govt to desist from communal provocations and acts of abetment with separatism and fulfill its responsibility of protecting national interests in Jammu province.
HEM appealed to Govt to defuse the situation in Kathua Hiranagar area by handing over the inquiry of the alleged rape and murder of the minor girl to CBI immediately.
