| Fake official order on extension of summer vacations goes viral on social media | | |  Early Time Report
Jammu, July 15: As summer vacations in Jammu Division have come to an end, a fake official order on their extension has surfaced on social media by some rumour mongers and spreading like wild fire which is creating huge chaos among the students and parents but the administration seems helpless in check such mischievous elements who have been misusing social media sites. The order is being shown issued by the Principal Secretary to Government for School Education Department Shaleen Kabra today on 'Whatsapp' date 15-07-2018. While going through it minutely, the order seems tempered with the help of technology.
Moreover the order which has been used looks a copy of an old order. The date of the order has been tempered which has been shown in bold and the name given on the order is of previous Principal Secretary which clearly exhibit that a deliberate mischief to mislead the public has been made.
The order reads that "in the view of prevailing climactic conditions in the Jammu Division, the summer vacations of Government/ Private recognized schools functioning in summer zone of Jammu division, ordered vide Government order No. 2 Edu of 2018 dated 15-07-2018,have been extended up to 22-07-2018. Any default on part of Private Schools in observance of the summer vacations so authorized shall attract action under rules". |
