| Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum holds monthly meeting | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, July 15: The monthly meeting of the District Udhampur unit of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum, was held at Udhampur today with Ashok Sharma, the District President of the Forum, in the chair. The speakers demanded that the requisite staff be provided to the newly upgraded High and Hr. Sec Schools at the earliest. They demanded that the benefit of Assured Career Progression (ACP)Scheme (Running Pattern) be extended to the lecturers and officers of the Plus 2 Cadre. They urged the Advisor to Governor, holding charging of School Education Department to intervene in the matter and get this benefit extended to the Plus 2 Cadre. The members also demanded that the orders of regularisation of Incharge incumbents of the School Education Department be issued at the earliest. They also demanded rationalisation of staff in schools and earned leave in favour of the staff engaged for the conduct of exams by JKBOSE during summer/winter breaks. They said that the process of transfer be completed before the start of academic session and no transfers should be effected in the mid session. They also demanded the promotion of Lecturers to Sr Lecturers, Sr Lecturers to Principals and other levels to fill up the large no of vacancies in the School Edu Department, especially in the schools falling in the rural and farflung areas. Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Sharma thanked the members for their views and demanded that all the demands projected by them should be addressed by the Government. |
