| Villagers protest against PDD, allege no electricity for last 9 days | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, July 23: Alleging power failure for the last nine days, the villagers of Ladana-Foungari in Ramnagar Tehsil held a protest against Power Development Department (PDD).
Locals said that Ladana, Klaiya and Sughal areas in Ramnagar Tehsil are without power supply for the last nine days but the department is paying no attention towards the problem being faced by the public.
The protesting people said that hundreds of rupees are being paid as electricity rent every month but the PDD failed to ensure the hassle free power supply to the consumers.
They lamented that the department could not change the faulty transformer even after the passage of last nine day due to which the people of the area are suffering a lot. |
