Reasi, July 23: Now a days, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj is always in news for bad reasons.
The RDD and Panchayati Raj Reasi have invested crores of rupees during last four years. In village Talwara of Pouni block of district Reasi, Construction of lane tile work from main road to mohalla Paddar in Talwara village' is still waiting it's start whereas department has released 27,208 rupees 03/11/2017 during financial year 2017-018 for labourers of said work.
Sources said that "the work has not been inaugurated till now". How department released money for the said work? they question. "Government has not issued single tile, cement bag for the said work, whereas department has released funds". How department released the funds, why not started the work till now while works of 2018-19 have now been completed. Locals have appealed to state governor N N Vohra to look into the matter and take strict appropriate action against law violators. |
